Detailed commentaries from the day of the workout give you unbiased and independent evaluations of each horse based strictly on the morning drills. Not just speed or times, but how the work was performed: Was the horse under restraint or being asked, with company or solo, under a jockey or exercise rider?
Significant differences in a horse's last couple of works or pattern of works can signal major changes in its afternoon performance. That could mean nice odds since the public generally handicaps based on prior performance, not performance changes.
Performance Ratings (PRs), which include exclusive HR track variants, are generated after each racing day for each race. When horses run back, compare their PRs in the Daily Report with the Par Rating for the type of race, listed at the top of the page, and you've got a quick method of measuring each horse's chances.
