Join us for opening night at Delta Downs and compete in our Horseplayer World Series Qualifier on Saturday, Jan. 12.  We’re giving away two entries to the 2008 Horseplayer World Series in Las Vegas.

Contest prizes

1st place: Entry to the 2008 Horseplayer World Series (a $1,500 value)* and an official Youbet.com baseball cap.
2nd place: Entry to the 2008 Horseplayer World Series (a $1,500 value)* and an official Youbet.com baseball cap.
3rd place: An official Youbet.com baseball cap.
4th place: An official Youbet.com baseball cap.
5th place: An official Youbet.com baseball cap.

Contest rules

To qualify, just place a contest wager (Win, Place, Show, Exacta, Quinella, Trifecta or Superfecta) on at least five (5) separate races at Delta Downs using your Youbet.com account on Friday, December 7.

The winner shall be determined by highest Return On Investment (ROI) among all qualifying contestants.

Contest races: Any five (5) or more races on the Delta Downs program of the player’s choice.

Contest wagers: Win, Place, Show (or any combination of WPS), Exacta, Quinella, Trifecta, Superfecta (multi-leg wagers such as Daily Double, Pick 3 and Pick 4 are not eligible)

Wager amount: At least $1 or more (.10 Superfectas are not eligible)

Be sure to designate your contest wagers by checking the “Enter this wager in a contest” box on the Wager Pad of Youbet Express or they will not be included in the contest.

Additional rules information:

• You may place as many contest wagers as you like and all wagers will count toward your contest ROI.

• You may place multiple contest wagers on the same race, horse or entry, and all wagers will count toward your contest ROI.

• You may wager on as many races as you like and all wagers will count toward your contest ROI.

• Multi-leg wagers such as the Daily Double, Pick 3, Pick 4 and Pick 6 are not eligible for contest play

• .10 Superfectas are not eligible for contest play

You must place a designated contest wager on at least five (5) separate races on the Delta Downs program to qualify for a prize. Any contest wager that is fully refunded due to a scratched horse or entry will not count toward the 5 wager requirement. Be sure to watch for late scratches and changes.


* First and second prizes include entry into the Horseplayer World Series in Las Vegas, hotel accommodations at the Orleans Hotel and Casino for four nights, plus an official Youbet.com baseball cap. Horseplayer World Series, to be held January 24-26, 2008 at the Orleans Hotel and Casino. Contest winners are responsible for purchasing and/or arranging for transportation to Las Vegas to attend the Horseplayer World Series.
