Galahad has improved since first fight
Though Galahad’s career stalled at one point due to a suspension relating to an illegal substance, he’s showed in a disputed loss to Josh Warrington that he’s an elite featherweight. Galahad’s last bout was in February 2020 when he battered Claudio Marrero inside eight rounds.
Galahad’s awkward style was enough to give Warrington fits, and old foe Dickens may not present the same level of challenge now as he did eight years ago when they first fought. In a competitive bout, Galahad stopped Dickens in 10 rounds.

Dickens poises a tough challenge
Dickens is more along the lines of a journeyman at this stage of his career. He’s lost to the best fighters he’s gone up against, but remains relevant thanks to a string of strong outings. Over the course of his last five fights, he’s put on strong performances to deserve this big rematch.
What Dickens doesn’t have in power, he makes up for in toughness. Since moving up to featherweight, the southpaw seems to have added more power and goes into this fight knowing firsthand how to deal with Galahad’s antics
Galahad’s improved skill will be the difference
Ring rust is going to play a factor here, especially as Galahad utilizes a lot of movement. Dickens hasn’t fought since December of last year, but his rudimentary style doesn’t require a lot of energy like his opponent. The deciding factor here is that Galahad has looked the part of a champion, whereas Dickens is more or less as good as he’ll ever be.
The two should have another competitive bout, but Galahad’s natural skill and success against superior opposition ensures an easier night out for this rematch. If Galahad does show some rust, he might not land enough big shots to soften Dickens up late, but he’s the better man overall in the ring.
Expect Galahad to hand his old foe another defeat, this time by unanimous decision.
