Only a few weeks remain in the 2025 college football regular season, and the 12-team playoff chase is far from settled. YouBet.com has selected three games with major playoff implications as best bets, recommending the following Week 12 parlay. Lines courtesy of BetMGM, times listed as Eastern Standard Time.
CFB Week 12 parlay (+568): Pittsburgh – Oklahoma – Texas First Half
Notre Dame at Pittsburgh, 12 p.m.
Following back-to-back losses in late September, ACC-leading Pitt has reeled off five consecutive conference wins by a 19-point win margin. The Panthers are surging into their biggest game of the season, and the Irish will be happy to survive-and-advance in only the second road test since the season opener. Rain is expected, which plays to Pitt’s strength, as the Panthers rank fifth nationally in run defense (allowing only 2.4 yards per carry) behind an outstanding group of linebackers, and we’ll side with the peaking home underdog.
Pick: Pittsburgh
Oklahoma at Alabama, 3:30 p.m.
In a tough environment, Oklahoma’s shaky passing offense must protect the ball against a legitimate Alabama defense. Ty Simpson is looking to bounce back after an uneven performance against LSU, and the Tide is battle-tested, 3-0 in one-score conference games. But their declining rushing attack makes the points attractive against Oklahoma’s second-ranked run defense (allowing only 78.1 rushing yards per game). The Tide put up 59 rushing yards on 26 carries vs LSU, losing a pair of fumbles, and were held to 72 rushing yards by South Carolina two games back. The Sooners own the SEC’s best defense and will seek to grind out long, sustained drives behind their improved ground game, recording 328 combined rushing yards vs Tennessee and Ole Miss the last two games. Promises to be a good game.
Pick: Oklahoma
Texas at Georgia, 7:30 p.m.
Georgia’s defense is not as talented as in recent seasons, and the Bulldogs looked vulnerable in the first half of most SEC games, trailing Ole Miss, Auburn, Tennessee, and Alabama at halftime before coming back to win all but Alabama. They were even tied 10-10 with lowly Florida at the break two weeks ago. No college coach makes better halftime adjustments than Kirby Smart, and don’t be surprised to see Georgia prove best in the second half Saturday night, but teams are what they are by this time of the season, and Georgia is slow starting. Texas appears to be peaking at the right time, winning four consecutive games. They’ve held three top 10 (at the time) ranked teams on their schedule (Ohio St., Oklahoma, and Vanderbilt) to 20 combined points in the first half, jumping all over ninth-ranked Vandy by opening a 24-10 halftime lead last week. And more first-half success is expected against Georgia.
Pick: Texas first half
