CFB Week 6 Parlay: Big 12 unbeatens meet, SEC revenge game
A major SEC tilt, as well as a clash between Big 12 unbeatens, are among the college football games in the spotlight during Week 6. After connecting with a three-team parlay in Week 5, YouBet.com will take a swing at the following three-team parlay in Week 6 of the 2025 college football season. Week 6 CFB Parlay (+595): Cincinnati (
)-Under (Vanderbilt-Alabama)-Houston ( )Iowa St. at Cincinnati, 12 p.m.
Iowa St. lost a pair of receivers to the NFL last year, and the offense has been sluggish at times, relying on the ground game and short passes. A big edge goes to Cincinnati’s offense. Brendan Sorsby threw for 338 yards, two TDs, and zero interceptions, leading the Bearcats to a road win over Kansas last week, and 3-1 Cincy is finding their groove after a narrow setback to Nebraska in the opener. No surprise to see unranked Cincinnati favored over the 14th-ranked Cyclones.
Pick: Cincinnati
Vanderbilt at Alabama, 3:30 p.m.
Revenge game and Bama’s defense was the key last week, holding Georgia scoreless over the final 21 1/2 minutes on the road. The Tide return home, playing with renewed confidence on both sides of the ball, with Ty Simpson leading them to fast starts in the last three games. However, I'm not keen on laying double-digit points against Vanderbilt, which has leaned on its defense (15th-ranked nationally against the run) opening 5-0. The Tide have scored 41 combined points in a pair of games vs ranked foes, and they won’t complain about grinding out a win over a tough conference opponent.
Pick: Under
Texas Tech at Houston, 7 p.m.
Lone game this week among unbeatens, with both teams entering 4-0. Houston got caught looking ahead last week, rallying to defeat winless Oregon State after blowing out Colorado in Week 3. The defense has been a strength for the Cougars the last two seasons, ranking in the top 20 in total defense, scoring defense, and passing defense this season. In addition, the offense has improved behind quarterback Conner Weigman, who has performed at a high level with his arm and feet. Texas Tech has been dynamic, top 10 in many offensive and defensive categories this year, but the Red Raiders committed 14 penalties and surrendered a pair of turnovers in their last outing. And quarterback Behren Morton is returning from a neck injury. Give us the points with the home dog.
Pick: Houston
