College Football Week 11 Parlay: Top 10 teams meet in Big 12 showdown
A major conference battle awaits in the Big 12, with Texas Tech hosting BYU, and surging Iowa will look to prove their legitimacy when they host Oregon in Week 11 of the CFB season.
YouBet.com will recommend a Week 11 parlay with its three best bets, lines courtesy of BetMGM, and times listed as Eastern Standard Time.
CFB Week 11 parlay (+581): Under - Iowa – Florida St,
BYU at Texas Tech, 12 p.m.
Unbeaten and eighth-ranked, BYU is pegged as a double-digit underdog vs the ninth-ranked Red Raiders. In CFB games featuring two ranked teams, with the home team a double-digit favorite, the Under is 42-20 ATS since 2017. Texas Tech ranks fifth nationally in scoring defense, allowing only 14 points per game, and the Cougars don’t play at a high tempo. BYU will try to control the ball and take away explosive plays, forcing Texas Tech to play methodically on offense, and defense will be key to the outcome.
Pick: Under
Oregon at Iowa, 3:30 p.m.
Iowa 5-2-1 ATS this season, losing only two games outright by eight combined points (including a five-point loss to Indiana). And after being one of the lowest-scoring teams in recent years, the Hawkeyes rank 39th in scoring offense (30.9 points per game), scoring a combined 103 points, winning the last three games. Oregon 1-2 ATS in last three games, leading lowly Wisconsin (0-5 Big 10) by a 14-7 margin with less than three minutes remaining last week, and the Ducks are nowhere near as explosive as recent seasons. And except for a double-digit home loss to Indiana, the Ducks have played one of the softest schedules in the nation. Points will be difficult to come by against the Hawkeyes’ second-ranked defense. And with much more balance, Iowa’s offense may prove to be the difference.
Pick: Iowa
Florida St. at Clemson, 7 p.m.
After four straight losses, including a pair as double-digit favorites, Florida St. turned things around against Wake Forest, generating a pair of turnovers, four sacks, and allowing only 247 yards. They led 42-0 until the final minutes, with Tommy Castellanos regaining his confidence and running back Samuel Singleton making an impact in his first start. Want no part of laying points with Clemson (2-6 ATS) following a disheartening 46-45 home loss to Duke, which hadn’t won at Clemson in 45 years. The Tigers have lost six consecutive home games against Power Four opponents, and the wrong team is favored here.
Pick: Florida St.
