The 5 best betting props for UFC 252

The best trilogy of the modern MMA era will come to an end when Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier face off for the third and final time at UFC 252 on Saturday, Aug. 15.

While the eyes of the MMA world are rightfully on the main event, here are some props across the entire card that are too good to turn down.

Daniel Pineda vs. Herbert Burns over 1.5 (+115)

This match between two submission specialists may be methodical from the get-go.

While these two are looking for an opening to take the other to the mat, the fight looks to be light on action. Burns is the favorite at -270, but if you bet this fight to go the distance, you can get a +115 payout.

Magomed Ankalaev to win in rounds 1-3 (-165)

Controversy aside, Ankalaev was eventually going to mow down Ion Cutelaba when they faced off a few months ago.

Things won’t look much different this time around, but the fight might last longer than a round, assuming there is better officiating.

Ankalaev is a big favorite, and it’ll take a lot of money to turn the money into a profit, so take the prop here.

Sean O’Malley via decision (+120)

O’Malley continues to get the highlight-reel spot early in the cards, and the odds suggest he’ll come up with another win at the expense of Marlon Vera.

Unlike his previous bouts, “Chito” is durable and has never been stopped. He might put up enough of a fight to keep O’Malley honest. O’Malley by points is the call here.

Stipe Miocic to win in rounds 1-5 (+200)

In our preview for the main event, we figured Miocic’s varied striking and advantage in power would be too much for Cormier to overcome.

Cormier might rush into this one to try and take Miocic by surprise like in their first fight, but Miocic will weather the storm and charge right back. After he wears Cormier down, Miocic will close the trilogy with a thunderous KO and a +200 score.

Junior dos Santos via decision (+350)

Try as Jairzinho Rozenstruik might, he’s just not built for the top level of the heavyweight division. The fight with dos Santos is meant to get him over the hill for another meaningful fight and recapture some of that lost momentum, but the former champ has enough tools to figure him out.

Expect dos Santos to go the distance and win.
