The 5 best betting props for UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker

Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker will take center stage at UFC Fight Night on Saturday, June 27, in what should be a banger of a main event, but big money awaits those willing to take a risk on the undercard.

Kay Hansen via points +150

Hansen is a comfortable favorite over Jinh Yu Frey, and while she should outclass her foe, she won’t overpower her.

Frey is making her UFC debut and is moving up a weight class for this fight, so Hansen won’t spark her out and may have to give chase once the divide in talent presents itself.

This fight should go the distance, with Hansen winning a dominant decision.

Mickey Gall via submission +500

Taking Gall at +260 is a steal, but doubling up on Gall scoring a submission over the inconsistent Mike Perry is too good to pass up.

Perry has gone 2-5 over the last three years, and Gall is good enough to hand him his third straight loss.

Allen is a big moneyline favorite at -310, but betting on his recent form may net a big pickup. 

Dustin Poirier to win by points +350

Poirier’s ring rust and Dan Hooker’s reach may cause him to start slower than he’d like, but this fight is going to be a war of attrition that will go the distance.

There is also the chance Hooker might not be all the way recovered from the massive beating he took in his last fight, which means he’ll take fewer chances if he is getting touched up by Poirier’s superior boxing skills.

Maurice Greene to win and Under 1.5 +150

Greene will go into this fight with a 60-pound weight advantage and a six-inch reach advantage over Gian Villante, who has already been slumped by smaller fighters in the past.

This is easily the best pick on the entire card.

Villante might make it out of the first round, but he’ll absorb enough punishment to go early in the second.
