NASCAR Bank of America ROVAL 400 betting odds and value picks

We have another NASCAR playoff elimination race coming up this Sunday in the Bank of America ROVAL 400 (2:00 p.m. ET, NBC). The postseason field will be whittled down from 12 to eight drivers at the Charlotte Motor Speedway road course.
Chase Elliott is the +200 favorite to punch his ticket to the Round of 8, as he’s won half of the last 14 Cup Series road races. But there appear to be three drivers who are primed for an upset victory in this spot.
Below are our value picks for the Bank of America ROVAL 400.
Kyle Larson (+450)
Kyle Larson makes his first start at the Roval for Hendrick Motorsports after two unlucky runs for Chip Ganassi Racing in 2018 and 2019. He won Stage 1 in each of his first two starts over this course and led 56 total laps, but finished outside the Top 10 in each instance.

Larson has become a force to be reckoned with on road courses this year, finishing inside the Top 3 in four of his last five starts. That includes his victories at Sonoma and Watkins Glen.
The No. 5 Chevrolet driver will start as far back as he has in his last 10 races – 10th – after encountering trouble at Talladega last week.
A. J. Allmendinger (+1600)
It’s been hard to ignore the success A. J. Allmendinger has had on road courses in his first Cup Series races since 2018. He’s finished no worse than seventh in four of his five road races in 2021, highlighted by a victory at the Indy Road Course on Aug. 15.

Allmendinger was seventh in his lone Cup Series start at the Roval in 2018, but has won each of his two career Xfinity Series starts over this course. The No. 16 Chevrolet driver will begin his day in 33rd place.
Ryan Blaney (+2200)
Ryan Blaney famously took advantage of a last-lap crash to win at the Roval in 2018, but his success at road courses is not limited to that one “fluke” occurrence.

Blaney has hit the Top 10 in all three career Cup Series races at the Roval, winning two stages and leading 30 laps. He was second behind Allmendinger at the Indy Road Course, NASCAR’s most recent race at a non-oval.
The No. 12 Ford driver will roll off the grid in sixth place.
