The NASCAR Cup Series regular season will conclude on Saturday night in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway (7:00 p.m. ET, NBC).

Denny Hamlin – who’s won three of the last five Daytona 500s – has been installed at the +650 race favorite, with all other challengers listed at +1200 or higher. The fact that Hamlin has not won a race in 2021, along with the unpredictable nature of superspeedway racing, makes him a very beatable public choice.

Let’s go looking for value as we make our top three selections for the Coke Zero Sugar 400.

Kyle Larson (+1200)

Kyle Larson appears to be a bargain as he makes his second start at Daytona for Hendrick Motorsports.

Larson checked in 10th in his first ever ride in the No. 5 car in this year’s Daytona 500, placing in both stages in the process. He had two Top 10s in his final three tries at this oval for Chip Ganassi Racing.

Larson has clearly settled into a comfort zone in his new Chevrolet since the 500, winning five races while earning the regular season points lead over Hamlin. His 1,566 laps led this year tower over the competition.

NASCAR awarded Larson the pole position for the Coke Zero Sugar 400 based on their performance-based metric.

Ryan Blaney (+1400)

Ryan Blaney is available at a solid price for the Coke Zero Sugar 400 fresh off his victory in the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan.

Blaney has been involved in four wrecks in his last six trips to Daytona, but in the two races in which he encountered no trouble, the No. 12 Ford driver finished second and sixth. He’s also compiled 13 stage placings out of a possible 18 at Daytona.

Blaney will roll off the grid in sixth place.

Chase Elliott (+1400)

Chase Elliott hadn’t had much luck at Daytona until recently, taking runner-up honors in each of his last two starts there. It’s not unreasonable to expect a breakthrough performance by Elliott on Saturday night.

The No. 9 Chevrolet driver has not confined his recent success to road courses; he also finished eighth at Michigan last week while leading 68 laps in the process. He’s led at least 12 laps in 10 of his last 12 races overall.

Elliott will begin the Coke Zero Sugar 400 in fifth place.
