Now is the time to act to get the best price on NFL futures odds for every team across the league.
The Best NFL Futures Bets This Season
With an infinite number of possibilities for this NFL season, it helps to know which bet to follow. There are a number of options to watch, but these are the best NFL futures bets for our money. See how well you know ball, and get in on the best price as we enter the NFL regular season.
Kansas City Chiefs to Win the AFC West (
)In part due to the beatdown they received at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl last season, there are many Chiefs doubters heading into Week 1 of the regular season. But don’t get confused: the Chiefs are still a lock to make the playoffs and contend for the Lombardi Trophy.
For seven straight seasons under Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs have made the AFC Championship game at a minimum. This offseason has been about getting healthy, as conference foes like the Bills and Ravens have gotten better. The Chiefs worked on the offensive line and should be better at wide receiver. If they can stay healthy, there is no reason to think the Chiefs won’t win the division (and 12+ games) again.
TreVeyon Henderson to Win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year
Taken in the second round of the NFL Draft, Henderson looks to be one of the steals of the draft for the Patriots. Splitting time in college last year, Henderson made the most of his time with the ball. A dynamic offensive player, he looks to take over the starting running back role in his first season.
As a rookie QB, Drake Maye showed promise this past season. Now, he will lean on an improved offensive line and hope to get the ball to Henderson as much as possible. Henderson feels like a safe bet to be in contention for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year so long as he can manage to stay healthy.
Philadelphia Eagles to Win the NFC East (
)Fresh off winning the Super Bowl last year, the Eagles feel unstoppable. A quiet preseason did nothing to impact their odds, and the NFC East looks theirs for the taking. The division feels weaker despite improvements from the Washington Commanders, particularly on defense.
The Eagles are built to win. Head coach Nick Sirianni has them playing their best football, and the offseason did nothing to change that. They are an odds-on favorite to reach the Super Bowl again this season. Just how many games they win is anyone’s guess, but odds are that the Eagles will dominate the NFC East and the league once again.
J.J. McCarthy Over 3575.5 Passing Yards
Last year was supposed to be McCarthy’s chance to learn the Vikings offense and ascend to the starting role by the end of the regular season. Instead, an injury cut his play short in the preseason. Now, with Sam Darnold off to Seattle and a full training camp under his belt, McCarthy will make his true NFL debut in the regular season.
Heading into week 1, Head Coach Kevin O’Connell will no doubt have his quarterback prepared. O’Connell has become one of the best coaches in the league, consistently winning games despite the odds being against him. For that reason, McCarthy feels like a safe play to sling the ball around this season. Some guys are just flat-out football players, and McCarthy fits the bill.
Buffalo Bills Over
The Buffalo Bills managed to defy the odds last season. Many felt like they were on the downswing, a threat to miss the playoffs. Instead, they dominated their division, rolled into the playoffs, and very nearly took down the Chiefs. Oh, Josh Allen also managed to win MVP for the first time.
Through the draft and free agency, the Bills worked on their defense. They know Allen can put the ball where he wants, but the defense has let the team down in big spots in the past. Now, with additions at secondary, edge rusher, and defensive tackle, the defense looks ready to play its best football. If Keon Coleman can step up at wide receiver, Allen could be a good bet to win MVP again, and the Bills should crush their division as well.
Joe Burrow to Win NFL MVP (
)This past season was frustrating for Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. They finished third in their division, ultimately missing the playoffs. They start slow, dropping games in the early portion of the season and having to play their best football to catch up.
This season feels different. The Bengals addressed the defense in the draft, hoping to grab the lead in more games this season. When healthy, Burrow plays lights out and gives them a chance to win. Coming off a season in which he led the league in passing yards and touchdowns, look for Burrow to take his game to a new level this season as the Bengals win 10+ games and challenge for the division title.
Detroit Lions to Win the NFC North (
)Falling short of their Super Bowl goal last season, the league now appears to be sleeping on the Detroit Lions. Losing both coordinators will do that, but this team is built to win, and head coach Dan Campbell will lead them with determination like few others.
Anything less than making the NFC playoffs will be a massive disappointment for this team. They have some of the best Super Bowl odds in the NFL, but NFL futures seem to be sleeping on them. They should win 10+ games again and get one of the best pass rushers in the league back as Aiden Hutchinson returns. These players will play hard for Campbell, so you can never bet against the Lions.
New Orleans Saints Under
The NFC South is a confusing division. There is no “safe bet” when it comes to who will win the division. What does feel like a safe bet, however, is that the Saints will finish at the bottom of the division.
Free agency didn’t yield significant results, and the draft can only help a roster so much. This team lacks sufficient talent to win many games this season. NFL betting is about finding mismatches, and the Saints should face underdog odds in more games than not. They may play hard, but this season is going to be a long one from Week 1 on.
Baltimore Ravens to Win the AFC North
There are few teams with pressure to win beginning in Week 1, like the Baltimore Ravens. Offensively, they are always among the league leaders in total points. Their defense is ferocious, and they play as a team.
In the AFC North, there is no such thing as a “safe bet.” It is the toughest division in the NFL each season, and odds are that it will be a dog fight again. When they get the lead, the Ravens can be suffocating.
Travis Kelce 6+ Receiving Touchdowns (
)Though Kelce continues to win off the field, he has had very real struggles on the field. As the most dominant tight end in the NFL over the bulk of his career, watching him get free to destroy the opposing team felt like a gimme.
After a down season, Kelce looks to rebound and help the Chiefs win another Super Bowl. Though he is approaching 37 years old, Kelce still has enough in the tank to be one of the most dangerous tight ends in the NFL again. He is an integral part of the team, so look for Kelce to appear rejuvenated in what could be his final NFL season.
Chase Brown to Record 1,000+ Rushing Yards (
)The Bengals are stacked on offense. Though most of the love goes to the wide receiver position – Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins more than earn it – don’t overlook the contributions of Chase Brown at running back.
Brown was perhaps the most underrated part of a largely frustrating Bengals team last season. With all the attention going to Burrow, Chase, and Higgins, Brown could cash in. If he stays healthy, he could be a solid bet to top the 1,000-yard mark.
Las Vegas Raiders Over 6.5 Wins (
)The Raiders have been a laughing stock of the NFL for the better part of two decades. Things feel different with this team, though. New head coach Pete Carroll arrives to change the culture. New QB Geno Smith gives them a signal caller they haven’t had since Rich Gannon left town.
The Raiders still have a lot of holes, but they have potential as well. Tight end Brock Bowers is looking to build off a record-setting rookie season. Rookie running back Ashton Jeanty is hoping to give the Raiders a presence on the ground. There is definitely enough talent there to win more than six games and cash your bet.
New England Patriots to Miss the Playoffs (-192)
The Patriots got a lot of love for the moves they made in free agency and the draft. On paper, they certainly look improved from the team that failed to make the playoffs a season ago. But the hype train is getting a bit off the tracks, and it doesn’t add up.
The AFC is the tougher of the two conferences, and the Patriots have to deal with the Bills as a division foe. They’ll be much better than last season, but expecting the Patriots to make the playoffs feels like wishful thinking.
Colston Loveland Over 550.5 Receiving Yards (
)Few teams managed to disappoint last season like the Chicago Bears. Rookie QB Caleb Williams showed flashes but ultimately delivered a disappointing campaign. He is back again and has top 10 pick Colston Loveland to add to his cache of weapons.
The Bears are counting on Caleb Williams to be better, and Loveland will be a major catalyst. Look for Williams to develop a rapport with the talented pass-catcher, vaulting Loveland well over the 550-yard mark.
Baker Mayfield Over 3800.5 Passing Yards (
)Mayfield found new life in the NFC South with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was one of the most dynamic throwers in the league last season, throwing for 4,500 yards and a whopping 41 touchdowns to just 16 interceptions.
This season, Mayfield is poised to take things up a notch. Given that he has thrown for at least 4,000 yards in each of his two seasons in Tampa, going over 3,800 yards feels like a safe bet. The Bucs have talent all over the offense, so Mayfield should once again sling the rock around.
Super Bowl Matchup: Philadelphia Eagles vs. Buffalo Bills (+2000)
Everyone loves the Eagles to come out of the NFC East and win the conference. Only the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC West seem to be getting close to the amount of love the Eagles have been getting.
The AFC is a much tougher draw, but this feels like the year the Bills finally get over the hump. In what would be a matchup for the ages, the Bills and Eagles would be the kind of Super Bowl that would be talked about for years to come.
