Chiefs vs. Raiders: The best betting props for SNF

Week 11's Sunday Night Football game promises to be an absolute barnburner with the 8-1 Chiefs heading to Vegas to face the only team that has defeated them all year. In a thrilling high scoring affair, the Raiders came away 40-32 winners in Week 5, and if they can upset the Chiefs again, they will be just a single win behind their AFC West rivals.

We can expect another shootout between these two teams, and where there are plenty of points there are plenty of prop bets! Here are the four best betting props for Sunday’s eagerly anticipated clash.

Josh Jacobs rushing yards

The Raiders have won four of their last five games and a lot of that can be accredited to a fiercely effective double-battering ram in the backfield with Josh Jacobs and Devontae Booker. Booker has been eating into Jacobs’ workload but not enough to dent Jacobs’ rushing yards.

Jacobs has averaged 19 rushing attempts per game since the Week 6 bye, and in two of those matches has racked up more than 100 yards on the ground. In the Week 5 match against the Chiefs, Jacobs got 23 rushing attempts and racked up 77 yards and two touchdowns.

The Chiefs have one of the worst rushing defenses in the league, and have given up an average of 138 yards per game on the ground this year.

The points total for this game is 57, and these two put up 72 points in Week 5, so we can expect plenty of scoring. Jacobs could get 18+ rushing attempts, which should be enough to help push him over this line.

Pick: Over 75.5 rushing yards (-110)

Patrick Mahomes passing yards

There is a reason Patrick Mahomes is a Super Bowl champion and the 2018 MVP. He is just incredible. The Chiefs offense has averaged almost 32 points per game this season, and Mahomes has been involved in 27 of the team’s 31 touchdowns.

The Chiefs are projected to score 33 points on SNF, which "points" to a whole lot of yardage for Mahomes.

In the match in Kansas in Week 5, Mahomes racked up 340 yards, and in his last two games he has put up 416 yards against the Jets and 372 yards against the Panthers.

Throw into the mix that Raiders edge rusher Clelin Ferrell is out due to COVID-19, and that could give Mahomes even more time in a clean pocket. That’s a cocktail for big plays and it would be no surprise to see Mahomes carve up Las Vegas again.

Pick: Over 320.5 passing yards (-115)

Tyreek Hill receiving yards

Hill was kept quiet in the Week 5 clash as he managed just three catches, although he did turn that into 78 yards. "Cheetah" is on the up though, getting 34 targets in his last three games and posting 98 yards against the Jets and 113 yards against the Panthers. When Mahomes plays well it naturally trickles down to Hill, so we can look forward to a monster game here.

Before the bye week the Panthers struggled to get pressure on Mahomes, and Hill was able to run wild. This week could be similar, particularly with Ferrell and some of his defensive teammates potentially unavailable.

Las Vegas has already given up 100+ yard receiving games to Kennan Allen, Scott Miller, Travis Kelce and Stefon Diggs this season. Expect Hill to carry on his explosive season in Vegas.

Pick: Over 75.5 receiving yards (-110)

Nelson Agholor receiving yards

Agholor racked up 67 yards in the Week 5 clash with the Chiefs, but that line is a little misleading. He had just two receptions and had 59 yards on one of them, his longest of the season.

In the last three weeks Agholor has had just nine targets and three catches for a total of 63 yards. The volume simply isn’t there, and the Chiefs have performed well against wide receivers this year, giving them just 7.4 yards per target, which is the third fewest in the NFL.

Agholor is likely to see three or four targets from Derek Carr, with Vegas likely leaning quite heavily on its running game. That lack of volume does not bode well for receiving yardage against a stingy Chiefs defense.

Pick: Under 37.5 receiving yards (-115)
