We saw some surprising results last week, with one-win New Orleans damaging Carolina's playoff hopes and Buffalo getting blown out at two-win Miami. And after scouring the Week 12 slate, YouBet.com is excited to recommend the following three best bets in a Week 12 parlay. All lines courtesy of BetMGM, times listed as Eastern Standard Time.
NFL Week 11 Parlay (+595): Vikings – Under –Over (Buccaneers-Bills) (Cardinals-Niners)
Bears at Vikings, U.S. Bank Stadium, 1 p.m.
Chicago deserves credit for pulling out close games, with four of the last five wins coming by a combined 11 points after trailing entering the fourth quarter, but all six wins this year have come against teams with losing records. And this isn’t a favorable spot against an NFC North opponent, with Caleb Williams losing both divisional games earlier this season and going 1-7 in his career, the lone win coming against a Packers team resting their starters late last year. J.J. McCarthy 2-0 ATS vs NFC North rivals, with the Vikings scoring 27 points in both games, and Minnesota in bounce-back mode after coming out flat last week following an emotional road win at Detroit, committing 13 penalties and three turnovers in a home loss to Baltimore. Vikings' top 10 pass defense gets after opposing quarterbacks, averaging nearly three sacks per game, and they still control their postseason destiny despite a 4-5 start to the season.
Pick: Vikings
Buccaneers at Bills, Highmark Stadium, 1 p.m.
Injuries are wreaking a serious toll on Buffalo’s defense. Only three defensive starters haven’t missed a game, with only three healthy defensive ends after an ugly 30-13 loss to Miami, where they surrendered 197 rushing yards, and both starting cornerbacks are out. Bills also lost leading tight end Dalton Kincaid last week, but Tampa has more serious injury concerns on offense. Baker Mayfield lacks weapons with receivers Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Jalen McMillan all out, and the Buccaneers miss sidelined running back Bucky Irving. After recording only 87 rushing yards against Miami’s low-ranked run defense, the Bills will look to reestablish the running game to take pressure away from the deteriorating offensive line, which allowed Josh Allen to take seven quarterback hits and three sacks against a low-ranked Miami pass rush. Neither offense is efficient at the moment, with the Bills losing three of their last five games and the Buccaneers losing two of their last three.
Pick: Under
Niners at Cardinals, State Farm Stadium, 4:05 p.m.
The Cardinals are banged up, but Jacoby Brissett is getting the ball to his receivers, recording nearly 800 passing yards and six touchdowns since taking over quarterback duties three games ago. And two of those games were against top-5 defenses (the Packers and the Seahawks). The Niners are a more banged-up team than any team, but can still bring it offensively, scoring a combined 76 points the last two games behind back-up Mac Jones, who completed 33 of 39 passes for 319 passing yards and three touchdowns against Super Bowl contenders Rams last week. The Niners' decimated defense surrendered 31 first downs and 42 points in a double-digit loss, and the Cardinals will have success through the air. In 34 games involving back-up quarterbacks this year, the Over is 26-8, including a 6-1 record since Week 9.
Pick: Over
