NFL Week 14 parlay: AFC North Showdown among best bets

Following a loss to Carolina in Week 13, the Rams remain the Super Bowl favorite (+450), with the Seahawks (+850), Eagles (+900), and Packers (+900) as the main challengers in the NFC, but there’s certainly no prohibitive favorite in the AFC. The Bills (+1000) lead the market, but the Broncos (+1100) and Patriots (+1100) are nipping at their heels, and the Super Bowl picture appears wide open entering Week 14.

YouBet.com has identified three best bet selections for the following Week 14 parlay, all lines courtesy of BetMGM and times listed as Eastern Standard Time.

NFL Week 14 Parlay (+596): Under 42.5 (Steelers-Ravens) – Titans +4  – Vikings -1.5

Steelers at Ravens, M&T Bank Stadium, 1 p.m.

Both enter in bad form offensively. Lamar Jackson hobbled due to multiple low-body injuries; he can’t scramble or attack defenses on the ground, and that limits the Ravens' passing game and enables defenses to play run-heavy sets. Ravens operating far from peak efficiency, they made the Bengals defense look good last week, and very slow-starting, going 1-11 to the team's first-half team total over, the worst record in the league. We have less faith in the Steelers’ 28th-ranked offense (281.7 total yards per game); they had 58 rushing yards and 110 passing yards in a 26-7 home loss last week. With the Steelers fading down the stretch, it feels like the end of the Mike Tomlin era.

Pick: Under 42.5

Titans at Browns, Huntington Bank Field, 1 p.m.

After covering three consecutive games vs playoff contenders with outstanding defenses (Chargers, Seahawks, and Texans), the Titans failed to show up offensively vs the Jaguars last week, recording only 188 total yards in a 25-3 loss. But don’t underestimate the Tennessee defense; they held Jacksonville to only 272 total yards, including 70 rushing, and have kept the Titans in many games while playing an extremely difficult schedule. This is only their third game vs a non-playoff contender this season, and the Browns' inefficient offense looks more vulnerable than ever following a blowout loss to the Niners. Browns 1-5 ATS as a favorite over the last two seasons and 8-15 ATS when favored vs teams with a losing record under Kevin Stefanski.

Pick: Titans +4

Commanders at Vikings, U.S. Bank Stadium, 1 p.m.

Vikings exit an atrocious 26-0 loss to Seahawks, with rookie quarterback Max Brosmer proving ineffective, and they’ve failed to cover six of the last seven. But this is a favorable bounce-back spot, with teams going 33-17-3 ATS after being shut out since 2015, including 3-0 this season. Look for the Vikings defense to set the tone vs the Commanders' offense, which averages 16 points per game over the last five games. And Washington has failed to cover six of their last seven, owning the second-worst overall ATS record at 3-8. Vikings are out of playoff consideration, but have beaten the Bears and Lions this season, and they’ll show some pride this week.
