Ravens vs. Dolphins: The best player prop bets for TNF

The Miami Dolphins will chase after their third win of the season when they host the 6-2 Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football at Hard Rock Stadium in Week 10.

Miami earned its second victory of the year in a sloppy Week 9 battle against one-win Houston.

For the fourth time this season, Jacoby Brissett filled in as the starter for Tua Tagovailoa, who was sidelined with a finger injury.

Brissett finished the 19-7 win with 244 passing yards, one touchdown, two interceptions, and a fumble. He accounted for three of his team's five turnovers, while the Texans added four of their own.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson also turned in his third multiple-interception outing against the Minnesota Vikings last week. One of those interceptions occurred in overtime and nearly cost his team a win, but Baltimore's defense stepped up to force a three-and-out, before Justin Tucker kicked a game-winning field goal with 16 seconds left in extra minutes.

While Jackson contributed to some of his team's mistakes, he also ran for a game-high 120 yards, which tied him with Michael Vick's record of 10 career 100-yard rushing performances by a quarterback.

Jackson also generated 266 yards through the air and three touchdown passes.

Despite a number of obstacles early in the season, Jackson's Ravens are flying high and currently own the No. 2 seed in the AFC, if the playoffs were to start today.

Let's further analyze this Thursday Night Football showdown between Baltimore and Miami, as we look at the three best player props to bet.

Lamar Jackson: Over/Under 230.5 passing yards

The 2019 unanimous MVP has once again proven the most valuable asset to Baltimore's success.

In Sunday's win, he accounted for 386 of his team's 500 yards of total offense and will now match up with a Dolphins defense that ranks 17th against the run and 30th against the pass.

The Over/Under on Jackson's passing yards is set at just 230.5, a total he has surpassed in all but one game this season, against the Los Angeles Chargers' third-best pass defense.

The Dolphins have allowed at least 240 passing yards in their past five games, and Week 10 will be no different.

Pick: Over 230.5 passing yards (-114)

Mike Gesicki: Over/Under 53.5 receiving yards

Despite owning a far better record than Miami, Baltimore is worse than the Dolphins at defending the pass.

The Ravens surrender the second most yards per game through the air (282.5), and have been particularly vulnerable against tight ends.

In Week 9, Baltimore let Vikings tight end Tyler Conklin average nine yards per catch for a total of 45 receiving yards.

In the Ravens' blowout loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 7, C.J. Uzomah generated 91 yards and two scores.

Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki ranks first on his team in receiving yards (529) and second in targets (63), behind rookie Jaylen Waddle.

Gesicki has topped 54 receiving yards in five of nine games this season, including three of the last four.

He'll get the chance to pad his stats against this Ravens defense, which has given up 595 yards and six touchdowns to tight ends this season.

Pick: Over 53.5 receiving yards (-115)

Marquise Brown: anytime touchdown scorer

Baltimore's leading receiver is Marquise Brown, a deep threat who ranks second in the league in receiving plays of more than 20 yards.

Brown has also hauled in six touchdown catches through eight games and will confront a Dolphins defense that ranks 27th in opponent touchdowns per contest (1.9).

Miami's stop unit has conceded the most plays (41) of 20-plus yards, so Brown should have a field day against this secondary and score his seventh touchdown of the season on Thursday night.

Pick: Marquise Brown to score a touchdown (+133)
