Calgary Flames +115 at Pittsburgh Penguins -135 (1:00pm ET)

The Flames enter Pittsburgh having gone 5-1 SU in their last 6 versus Metropolitan Division teams. They’re also 11-4 SU in their last 15 matches on a Saturday. Those are decent trends, but they might not be good enough to get over how the Flames take a 3-match losing streak into this one.

Pittsburgh is 9-2 SU in their last 11 as a -110 to -151 favorite. The Penguins are also 13-5 in their last 18 versus a team from the Pacific. But, Pittsburgh doesn’t perform well straight up versus teams with winning records. The Pens are only 1-5 SU in their last 6 versus a team with a winning record. The Flames should end their losing streak.

Montreal Canadiens +175 at Tampa Bay Lightning-210 (7:00pm ET)

The Canadiens head to Tampa on an 0-2 losing streak, but there are some things to like about Montreal. In the last match between these two, they hung with the Lightning, losing 5-6.The Canadians are also 4-1 SU in their last 5 playing on a day of rest, 7-3 SU in their last 10 on the road, and 7-3 SU in their last 10 versus a team from the Atlantic Division.

Hotter trends point to the best team in hockey winning straight up. But, sometimes you’ve got to take a shot. Swinging on Montreal to beat the Lightning on Saturday is one of those times, especially given the price you have to pay to reap rewards off the Lightning.

Dallas Stars+115 at Carolina Hurricanes -135 (8:00 pm ET)

Stars goalie Ben Bishop got hurt on Thursday. His status for this Saturday matchup is questionable. Bishop likely won’t go and although Landon Bow only allows 1.03 goals per, he’s only played in a couple of games this season. Bow could find it difficult to play the entire three periods at the same energy level.

The trends point to a Hurricanes straight up victory. Carolina is 5-0 SU in their last 5 playing on 0 days of rest and 6-2 SU in their last 8 versus the Western Conference not counting their Friday match with Edmonton.

We’ve also got to love how Carolina ranks first in shots and first in shots against. Hurricanes take it.

Nashville Predators +105 at Vegas Golden Knights -125 (10:00 pm ET)

Vegas hosts the Predators on Saturday having lost their last 3 straight up at home. Goalie Marc-Andre Fleury’s not playing as well as he was in the first half of the season. He’s allowed at least 4 goals in all 3 losses and gave up 6 to Toronto on Thursday night.

Nashville broke a 3-game losing streak with a 3-1 win over Montreal on Feb. 14. The Predators are 4-1 SU in their last 5 games as a road underdog. They’re also 17-8 SU in their last 25 versus a team with a winning record.

Nashville should get to Fleury early and then coast to a win.
