Kansas City attracts 75% of bets at TwinSpires Sports

TwinSpires Sports players continue to support the Kansas City Chiefs to win back-to-back NFL championships when they take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
Despite Tampa Bay’s home field advantage, 76% of the money placed on TwinSpires’ moneyline market has been on the Chiefs.
It’s a similar story with TwinSpires’ spread market, where despite giving up 3-points, 75% of the money bet with TwinSpires is for Kansas City.
"For every bet we receive on Tampa Bay, we receive two bets for the Chiefs, and the average size of those Kansas City bets are larger," said TwinSpires Sports spokesperson, Andrew Brown.
"With just a few days to go until the big game, our players are clearly confident Patrick Mahomes and his men have the edge over the Tom Brady-led Buccaneers."
TwinSpires has set the Over/Under total points line for the game at 56, and while 73% of the tickets placed with TwinSpires have been on the Over, 55% of the total money wagered has been on the Under.
"We’ve seen plenty of sizeable wagers on the Under for total points scored and that’s where the sharp money is focused."
TwinSpires Sports is offering more than 200 individual betting markets on Sunday’s game, including novelty markets such as what color Gatorade will be splashed on the winning coach (orange is the +100 favorite ahead of red at +175), and which team will win the coin toss.
