Manchester City are on course to run away with the Premier League title this year as Pep Guardiola’s men extended their lead at the top of the table to 10 points with a midweek win over Everton at Goodison Park. The chasing pack are struggling to hang on to the coattails of the dominant Citizens, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t money to be made as we enter Matchweek 25.

Manchester United’s shocking draw against relegation-doomed West Brom last week cost us a nice parlay, but that near miss only has us hungry to click one this weekend. This week’s four selections return $138.60 off a $10 bet.

Chelsea to beat Southampton (-132)

German gaffer Thomas Tuchel has certainly had the desired impact at Chelsea since he took over following the sacking of Frank Lampard. Tuchel came in on Jan. 26 and drew 0-0 with Wolves 24 hours later. Since then, he’s won five games on the spin, including a London derby with rivals Tottenham. They’ve only conceded once in six games with Tuchel in charge, and look dangerous going forward, with Timo Werner breaking his goal drought against Newcastle in the midweek game.

While Chelsea are on the up, Southampton are going backwards. The Saints have won just one of their 11 league games since Dec. 14, and a currently on a six-game losing streak. That run includes blowing leads at home against Wolves and Arsenal, a 9-0 hammering from Manchester United, and a 3-2 defeat to struggling Newcastle, who played for 40 minutes with just 10 men.

They are on a horrendous run.

Chelsea are unbeaten in their last seven league games at St. Mary’s, winning six and drawing one. The Blues have scored 18 goals and conceded just five in that time, and should continue that run on Saturday.

Liverpool vs Everton: Both Teams to Score (-120)

The Merseyside Derby is always a fixture worth circling when the schedule comes out, and this year’s clash at Anfield comes with an extra bit of spice. Jurgen Klopp has admitted that Liverpool’s title defense is over after a run of just two wins in 10 league games, and now Everton can go level on points with their neighbours if they win at Anfield.

This is not an easy game to call, and I’m happy to get splinters by sitting on the fence, and instead back both teams to score.

Both teams have found the net in five of Liverpool’s last seven games in all competitions, and both teams to score has clicked in 62% of their league matches this season. Similarly, both teams have scored in four of Everton’s last five games and in the last month they’ve drawn 3-3 with Manchester United in the league and beaten Tottenham 5-4 in the FA Cup.

This bet would have won in four of the last five Merseyside Derbies at Anfield, and could give us another entertaining clash this weekend.

West Ham to beat Tottenham (+160)

Individual errors have littered Tottenham’s recent games and heaped the pressure on Jose Mourinho as his side have lost four of their last five league games and dropped down to ninth in the league, six points off the top four.

West Ham, on the other hand, are one of the hottest teams in the league, with the dominant Manchester City the only side with a better points tally over the last eight games. David Moyes’ men have won six of their last eight and incredibly have their sights set on earning Champions League football this year.

This clash between two former Manchester United bosses is set to be a tense affair, but given Tottenham’s run of form, West Ham can edge it. Spurs were in Budapest on Thursday night for a Europa League clash, while West Ham have had six days rest after a straightforward 3-0 home win over Sheffield United on Monday. That could be the difference maker at Upton Park.

Man City to beat Arsenal (-200)

Arsenal put a stop to a mini-league blip by ending a three-game winless run with a confident 4-2 beating of Leeds United last week. But despite that morale-boosting effort, the Gunners are simply no match for Manchester City.

City are on a 17-game winning run in all competitions, and if that wasn’t scary enough for Arsenal – the Citizens welcomed back Kevin De Bruyne in the midweek win against Everton as he returns to full fitness.

Pep Guardiola’s incredible 17-game run has seen City score a whopping 46 goals and concede just six. That 17-game run includes league wins against Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, and Everton as well as cup wins against Arsenal and Manchester United.

City have won the last eight head-to-head league games against Arsenal and should make it nine on Sunday.
