College Football Week 5 Parlay Pick: LSU visits Oxford in key showdown of unbeaten teams

The 2025 College Football season has already provided some epic matchups, delivering thrills and disappointments, and some big games are on tap for Week 5. YouBet.com has identified three games of interest for Week 5, all involving SEC teams, and will recommend the following parlay.

Week 5 CFB Parlay Play (+627): Notre Dame (-4.5)/Ole Miss (-1.5)/Mississippi State (+7.5)

Notre Dame at Arkansas, 12 p.m.

Sam Pittman’s days appear numbered following a disappointing performance where Arkansas surrendered 489 total yards and was outscored 15-3 in the second half of a 32-31 loss at Memphis. Defense appears optional in Little Rock, and the Hogs are among the worst teams, averaging 7.3 penalties per game. Notre Dame’s high-powered offense averages 40 points per game, and the Irish have been toughened up, opening the season with close losses to Miami and Texas A&M. They got back on track last week, dropping 56 points on Purdue, and Notre Dame’s offense will prove too much for dysfunctional Arkansas.

Pick: Notre Dame -4.5

LSU at Ole Miss, 3:30 p.m.

Revenge game for Ole Miss, who gave up a late TD and lost in overtime last year, and Rebels own the 10th-ranked scoring offense (44.8 ppg) behind Trinidad Chambliss, who has been brilliant replacing Austin Simmons the last two weeks, throwing for 660 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions, and rushing for 197 yards and a touchdown. Garrett Nussmeier has struggled while recovering from a lingering torso injury, and we don’t trust LSU’s offense. The Tigers scored five TDs in the first three games, lacking a productive rushing attack behind a maligned offensive line. The overmatched Southeastern Louisiana averaged nearly as many rushing yards last week as LSU, which averaged only 3.9 yards per carry and gained only 135 rushing yards. The Rebels’ offense will prove too much in the end.

Pick: Ole Miss -1.5

Tennessee at Mississippi St., 4:15 p.m.

Tennessee’s high-powered offense probably will prove to be the difference, but don’t sleep on Mississippi St. second-year coach Jeff Lebby’s defense. Bulldogs stifled a ranked Arizona State in a comfortable Week 2 win and have forced five sacks, opening 4-0. They play with attitude. They're averaging 181.3 rushing yards per game and face a Tennessee defense that gave up 198 rushing yards to Georgia two weeks ago. This will be no easy test for the Volunteers, who should be on upset alert and won’t mind escaping a tough environment with a close win.

Pick: Mississippi St. +7.5
