2014 Bahamas Bowl: Central Michigan vs. Western Kentucky
If you don't know about the 2014 Bahamas Bowl, prepare yourself.
The teams on the field weren't the most talented, and it's doubtful many watched the Christmas Eve matchup under the Nassau sun, but it remains one of the most insane finishes in college football history.
Western Kentucky was up 49-14 early in the fourth quarter and didn't attempt a punt until a little more than 10 minutes remained on the game clock.
But Central Michigan scored 34 unanswered points in the fourth quarter, capped by an absurd, 75-yard lateral play as time expired. Central Michigan quarterback Cooper Rush led the way with a bowl record seven touchdown passes, which was tied by quarterback Joe Burrow last season, during LSU's thumping of Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl.
The Chippewas could have kicked an extra point to send the game into overtime, but went for two and the win.
The game may have meant virtually nothing, but it was thoroughly entertaining, which is all you can ask from a bowl game played in a soccer stadium.
