Through the first six weeks of the 2025 NFL season, the Colts (5-1) and Steelers (4-1) are the only one-loss teams remaining. Surprising to see in mid-October.
A couple of notable stats as we approach midseason. Favorites have performed well this year, but underdogs have been on a tear in prime-time games, winning six of the last seven games straight up. The defending Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, have now lost two consecutive games. Under coach Nick Sirianni, the Eagles are only 7-14 ATS off a straight-up loss.
YouBet.com scours the slate each week for a three-team parlay and has been hot of late, recording a 7-2 ATS record with individual picks over the last three weeks. We will recommend the following parlay for Week 7, with lines courtesy of BetMGM and times listed as Eastern Standard Time.
Week 7 Parlay Play (+595): Over (Panthers-Jets) – Giants - Under (Packers-Cardinals)
Panthers at Jets, MetLife Stadium, 1 p.m.
The winless Jets opened as a slight favorite before the line flipped in the Panthers' favor, and this game could go either way in an expected back-and-forth affair. After a slow start, the Panthers' offense has come on, averaging 29 points per game, winning three of their last four outings. But their defense has been awful in three road tilts, allowing 31.7 points per game. The Jets held a dysfunctional Broncos offense to 13 points in an ugly loss last week overseas, but they’ve been wildly inconsistent, surrendering 33.7 points per game in three home contests. And the Jets have found a way to score against less-than-stellar defenses, recording at least 21 points in four of their six games.
Pick: Over points
Giants at Broncos, Empower Field at Mile High, 4:05 p.m.
With their top-notch defense and quality skill players, the Giants only needed a good quarterback to be a playoff-caliber team. Enter rookie sensation Jaxson Dart, who has logged 167 rushing yards in three starts and exits a gritty 34-17 victory over the Eagles. Rookie Cam Skattebo has been terrific as well, and the Giants have had Wan’Dale Robinson and rookie Lil’Jordan Humphrey step up nicely to fill injuries at wide receiver. The Broncos' defense is outstanding, but their offense is not firing on all cylinders, scoring only 13 points last week as they struggled to rush effectively. And their struggles figure to continue against the Giants' defense. Brian Daboll is 5-2 ATS off at least a 10-day rest, while Sean Payton is 7-15 ATS as a favorite after winning but not covering.
Pick: Giants
Packers at Cardinals, State Farm Stadium, 4:25 p.m.
Despite playing outstanding defense, the Packers haven’t been producing sacks and turnovers as one would expect. Look for those numbers to surge as they gain momentum in this winnable stretch against probable non-playoff teams. After holding Bengals and Joe Flacco to 268 total yards in Week 6, they face another backup quarterback in Jacoby Brissett, who led an inspired performance against the Colts last week but has never been known for his consistency. Cardinals gained only 88 rushing yards last week; they can bring it defensively, but figure to struggle offensively in this spot.
Pick: Under
