Week 8 will be the final Sunday in October – the season seems to be flying by – and contenders in each conference are difficult to separate in a 2025 NFL season filled with parity to this point. But this is the time of year when the best teams begin to separate themselves, and it promises to be exciting.
After analyzing the board, YouBet.com has identified the following parlay for Week 8. All lines courtesy of BetMGM, times listed as Eastern Standard Time.
NFL Week 8 Parlay (+627): Giants – Under (Bears-Ravens) – Under (Buccaneers-Saints
Giants at Eagles, Lincoln Financial Field, 1 p.m.
The Eagles snapped a two-game losing streak with a 28-22 win over the Vikings last week, but it wasn’t pretty. Vikings held a 21-13 edge in first downs and a 67-49 advantage in total plays, holding the Eagles to 45 rushing yards, but two costly turnovers (including a pick 6) proved impossible to overcome. The Eagles had eight penalties accepted and have shown a significant decline on defense after losing five starters during the offseason. They rank 23rd in total defense and 20th in scoring defense this season. The Giants logged 172 rushing yards, beating the Eagles two weeks ago, and scored 32 points on Denver’s top-ranked defense last week. The Giants gave the game away late, but teams coming off a road game where they lost after leading by 10+ points in the fourth quarter are 15-10-1 ATS in their next game over the last 10 years. Their defense remains legitimate, and we love the mettle displayed by Jaxson Dart.
Pick: Giants
Bears at Ravens, M&T Bank Stadium, 1 p.m.
Following a bye week, Lamar Jackson did not return to practice earlier this week and appears doubtful with a hamstring injury. We won’t back the Ravens offense behind Cooper Rush/Tyler Huntley, but their defense has gotten healthier in recent weeks. After holding the high-scoring Rams to 17 points in their last outing, the Ravens figure to keep building upon that performance. The Bears have been outscored 100-71 in three road games (including a pair of one-point wins), with none of their last four victories coming over teams with winning records. Total may continue to drop if Jackson is declared out, but we’ll stick with the Under in a projected hard-fought, ball-control affair.
Pick: Under
Buccaneers at Saints, Caesars Superdome, 4:05 p.m.
Short rest for the Bucs, who struggled offensively against a depleted Detroit that lost its entire secondary to injury last Monday. The Bucs missed injured running back Bucky Irving, top rookie Emeka Egbuka appeared banged up, and they sustained the emotional loss of Mike Evans to a likely season-ending injury. But the Bucs are on the upswing defensively, holding the Niners and Lions relatively in check the last two games, and the Saints lack a quality offense. Saints do remain respectable on defense, holding all four home opponents (including the Niners and Patriots) to 26 points or less despite little offensive support, and it's tough to have faith in either offense presently.
Pick: Under
