A powder-keg Matchup in London could solidify the top 4, but not before Chelsea has a go at the Wolves.

Tottenham is looking to climb further up the table and Newcastle is ready for a win against the Toffees. Let's dig our heels in to the action!

Tottenham -115 over Southampton +325 St. Mary’s Stadium - Saturday, 10am EST

Tottenham will be looking to topple Southampton in their bid to stay in the the top-three of the EPL table.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino will not be there to help them in their quest as he serves a 2 game suspension for getting into it with referee Mike Dean at the Burnley matchup. There is also the question of whether Dele Alli and Harry Winks are fit to return for the game.

History does not bode well for Southampton who are 0-6 in their last home league games against the Spurs (0-2-4). Before this streak they won the previous five meetings with Tottenham, overall.

The Saints might have fear motivating them after having secured only five points in their last six matches and this puts their Premier League status in jeopardy. Their top scorer, Danny Ings is sidelined and Charlie Austin hasn’t scored in eight games. Not a great sign.

The Spurs have a comfortable record playing Southampton, losing one of their last 13 Premier League meetings, and scoring in every game (10-2-1). Despite their win against Dortmund in the Champions League they have not won a Premier League game in three outings and are taunting a fourth if they’re not careful.

In the end Tottenham is ready to break that streak and are riding high after their midweek Champions League win that ushered them in to the Champions League quarter-finals. Expect them to take this 2-1.

Newcastle +180 over Everton +175 St. James Park - Saturday 10 am EST

Newcastle has been fighting to pull in a win against Everton but have only secured one (2014) in their last 12 meetings. Everton have taken 4 of 5 away matches with Newcastle United but will be going for three consecutive, which they’ve never done.

Newcastle has staked their home territory as of late winning the their last 4 Premier League home games with an aggregate score of 1-9. However, they’ll have show up if they want any whiff of safety.

Everton kept a clean sheet against Liverpool so they will have momentum but they have to maintain that high bar if they want to move forward. Only picking up four points of a possible fifteen, they’ve had trouble maintaining consistency. Whether or not the Toffees decide to rule the pitch or not is a tough call.

Newcastle is on a run and they are going to take this win at home 1-0.

Chelsea -180 over Wolves +575 Stamford Bridge - Sunday, 10:05 am EST

Chelsea is looking to make big moves on Saturday but the Wolves have been showing up against high-ranking clubs so we are in for a fight.

The sixth place Blues are anxious to secure this match due to its potential to put them in the top four. The have a game in hand over fifth-place Arsenal who will be playing fourth-place Manchester City. If Chelsea wins it’ll put them above Arsenal and Man City and leaves those two to fight it out.

The kink that Chelsea has to overcome are the Wolves, and they have been disruptive against big teams away from home. They took down the Hotspurs, stole a point from both Arsenal and United and beat Chelsea at home.

In their last 6 meetings Chelsea has secured 4 of the wins and 2 went to to the Wolves. This will be an excellent game to watch but Chelsea has so much riding on this and they’ve done well in their London derbies against Fulham and Tottenham. The Blues will take this 2-0

Manchester United +200 over Arsenal +135 Emirates Stadium - Sunday, 12:30 EST

This is a powder-keg of a match that should tell us who will be left standing in the top four of the Premier League table.

Both are returning from France and only one came back with a Champions League quarter-final berth: Man United. However, that won’t matter come Sunday. Arsenal is one point back from the Red Devils and both are ready to fight for the fourth Premier League spot in a must-see matchup.

Manchester United has had a transformative few months since Solskjaer arrived and have amassed 32 points out of 36 available and they haven’t lost a game in the past 12. Romelu Lukuku had a slow start under Solskjear but showed up in a big way in France and if he does that same on Sunday, Arsenal are going to have their hands full.

Unai Emery has not so slyly indicated that Arsenal might do something “different tactically” in the Sunday matchup. Probably a good call since they lost to United 3-1 in January. More to that point they’ve been struggling in recent matchups. A draw with Tottenham and a slow comeback win against Southampton allowed United to leapfrog to fourth on the table.

However, now that their back door into the Champions League is shut due to their loss in Europa League, they will be hellbent on winning this.

I’m loving the Manchester United story and I think it’s more than just a dang good narrative - it’s really special (awwww!). The Red Devils are going to take this in London 2-1.
